Scooter Pietsch (pronounced Peach) is a playwright, Emmy-nominated composer/songwriter and TV producer. His play WINDFALL, directed by Jason Alexander, will be produced at Bay Street Theater (NY) in May/June of 2022. It was previously produced in 2016 in a sold out run at The Arkansas Repertory Theater (The Rep). All of his plays have had numerous readings in both NYC and LA. Several plays have been optioned for production. Scooter has served as dramaturg for two productions of DEE SNIDER’S ROCK N ROLL CHRISTMAS TALE; at the Broadway Playhouse in Chicago and the Elgin/Winter Garden Theater in Toronto. Past readings and productions of his plays have included performances by Tony & Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston, Tony winners Stephanie J. Block, Cady Huffman, Faith Prince and Michelle Pawk, Tony-Nominees Chad Kimball, Marc Kudisch and Sebastian Arcelus, Jack Coleman, Nancy Travis, Justin Bartha, Emmy-nominee Constance Zimmer, Jerry O’Connell, Gale Harold, Diane Farr, Jennifer Morrison, Nate Corrdry and many others. His musical, LONDON UNDONE has been featured in several showcases. As a composer, Scooter’s underscore, theme music and songs have appeared in hundreds of TV series and thousands of episodes and lots of movies. Some of these include Pretty Little Liars, Burn Notice, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Greek, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.
